Matt & I can't wait to meet our daughter tomorrow!
All the preparations are done and we are ready to go:
Her room is set
Clothes are washed and hung (I actually did not go totally out of control shopping for her - 90% of these fabulous clothes are on loan from friends whose little girls have outgrown them)
And lots of love has been given to soon-to-be big brother:
He even has some special cookies to celebrate with his classmates tomorrow.
Mommy is feeling a little nervous, for sure, and definitely has mixed emotions about leaving her first little love at home while she goes to the hospital for several days (in great hands with his GG nonetheless).
But we know that this will be the best gift Wells could ever receive, and we are happy for him and excited for our family.
Check back tomorrow for pictures of our newest addition!

Jimmy Jimmy & Mooovie
Translation = Junior Gym and Smoothie
Wells goes to a drop-off Charlotte Junior Gym (jimmy jimmy) class on Tuesday mornings and is always so worn out from his workout that he likes stopping afterwards to get a smoothie (mooovie) to rejuvenate. It's always a tough call between the Orange Buzz and Red Zinger...
but he always ends up a happy guy!

More Birthday Fun
We live on a close-knit street and are so sad to be losing some of our neighbors who are moving to Portland in a few weeks. Their sweet son, "baby" Liam, turned one and Wells helped him celebrate at My Gym.
Happy 1st Birthday baby Liam!

Dish It Out
This weekend we celebrated Wells' friend Sophia's (aka "Fia's") third birthday at a cute pottery place called Dish it Out. All of the children painted coffee mugs and then finished them off with their handprints.

Splish Splash
I am so lucky that Daddy has completely taken over Wells' bathtime. It's their time together, and I've been welcoming the break and have not gotten involved or interrupted. Matt told me that they had recently implemented the "sha-bath" - a combination shower/bath technique, and I really hadn't thought much of it until he was out the other night and I was left to do what I thought was a normal bath... and was immediately informed "Dat not how Daddy do it!!"
So Wells walked me through the sha-bath process. It consists of LOTS of trains, very little water in the bottom of the tub (so that the trains can still roll through), and squealing and splashing with the shower on full blast.
Basically if done Wells' way, it means sheer joy:

Sha-Bath is so much fun!!
(Now clean up from sha-bath is a different story - water ALL over the bathroom floor and lots of wet wooden trains to dry off...)
