First Day of First Grade

And just like that - we have a first grader:

Wells walked into Eastover confident, ready, and excited today. What a difference a year makes. So thankful for this sweet guy (who came home with an "outstanding" on his behavior chart on Day 1:).

Backpacks were blessed on Sunday and they seemed ready to conquer the world:

If only we could get his sister off to school...two weeks and counting till preschool starts. 

I have LOVED our summer but this stretch on two schedules is going to be a long one!!

Happy to have one first day done. Proud of our Wells 💙

Drifting Away

Summer days are dwindling. School starts for W next week. 

He got in a final camp last week at CGC with friends Robert, Connor, Towne, and Reese:

C got a "new" bike from a neighbor so we've been doing lots of riding:

Been making lots of pit stops for froyo:

Went to grandaddy's pool in Gastonia:

And found out a new GIRL cousin is on the way:

Hit our pool a few last times:

And Daddy took the crew to hit balls and practice putting. C's first time going with them!

Camps

Lots of camps lately - swim/golf, Lego, Frozen, gymnastics, etc:

Then lucky guys were taken to Camp GG a few afternoons (Nature Museum, Monkey Joes, Sky High):

How can you not love summer?!?
