Week in Review

Sweet Caroline had her first cold this week but seemed better by Tuesday.  Here she is on her way to music class.

W had PJ day at school on Thursday.  Can you imagine how excited he was?!?

They are learning about hibernation.  His teachers turned one of the learning centers into a "cave" with sleeping bags, and they pretended to be animals who slept all winter.  Wells was more interested in the PJ aspect, naturally.  He told me what type of pajamas EVERY single person in his class had on...


And a little tea party this afternoon.  Of course W was in charge of invitations:  Chicken, Mr. Potato Head, Bitty Baby, Sea Urchin, and (reluctantly) Caroline:

Tea and accessories were delivered via dump truck.  LOVE the look on Caroline's face, btw.  She is so excited to be included.

Wells loved it and Daddy was a big fan too

Of course all shows are made better by the merchandise

Sweet C stayed behind with a sitter - the combo of the loudness and smell of diesel fuel may have been a little much for her

We went to visit Daddy at work today:

Wells has been doing a basketball clinic twice a week at the Cornwell Center.

Time Flies

Caroline is 11 months old tomorrow.  And it feels like we just brought her home from the hospital.  How does this happen??

In a few words, Caroline is a lot of sweet...

...a little shy...

...and FULL of smiles.

And in a few more words, she is:

~a paci lover
~a spit up queen (but getting better!)
~a Daddy's girl
~an excellent sleeper
~a blueberry-eating machine
~a crawling danger zone
~still afraid of ALL guys (with the exception of her Dad)
~such an amazing blessing!

Miss Independent

Miss Priss is eating all on her own now:

Favorite foods include blueberries, waffles, grilled cheese, and spinach quesadillas.

But she's not giving up that bottle...she has just decided she doesn't need our help with it anymore.

Crawling all around and pulling up on things.  She always seems to end up by Cooper's door to say hi.
