We had wonderful Easter Sunday.
Thankfully, the Easter Bunny was able to find us at our new house:
We took a short walk across the street to early church:
And then to Gastonia for the afternoon:
Happy Easter 2013!

Happy St Patrick's Day
No pinches around here...
Here are my two little leprechauns
And W got the special honor of accompanying Uncle Pat as Grand Marshal in Charlotte's St Paddy's Day parade
Nothing better than a green Corvette (and the ride to the parade in the Secret Service detail - probably his favorite part - they've got sirens after all!)
Sweet C ate all his candy from the parade when he got home! Jelly beans full to the brim on this little green hat.

Packing It Up
Oh my goodness...anyone who has ever pulled off a move with 2 (or more) kids...I have some respect.
A friend told me the other day that trying to pack with kids at your feet is like trying to brush your teeth while eating Oreos. Totally agree. Gotta tape those boxes up or they will be unpacked before you turn around!
Much appreciation for GG and friends who have been helping us out while we pack it up:
Empty closets make great play places
W is so sweet and excited about this move. Here he is writing his name on his box of toys.

Bittersweet
We are packing things up over here. About to make a short move across town - a house we are excited about, but I would be remiss in not mentioning the sadness we have about leaving 3226 Pinehurst Place.
Our first house. We've been through an addition here, and brought both of our kids home to this sweet house.
Even more than the house itself, this has become our home because of the people who surround us. They've become some of our dearest friends, and spent countless birthdays, happy hours, playdates, and dinners (and a few late nights) with us. Our children run from yard to yard and and ride bikes and scooters together almost every afternoon.
It's a special place and it will never be replaced.
We are so excited about the next chapter in our lives but could not be more grateful for this street and the friends we've made.

SNOW
We've had the perfect amount of snow here in the QC. Just a few big, pretty flakes and enough of a layer of white to be nice but not a problem.
The first snow of 2013 fell on Caroline's birthday:
