Go Tigers!
Wells had his first game this weekend (W is #7)
Sweet friend Charlie scored the team's only goal :)
Caroline - on the sidelines and not very impressed
But we were so proud of these guys!

Lalala-la, Lalala-la, Elmo's World
I had really forgotten about Elmo. He's just been off my radar since Wells has become more interested in other characters. But Caroline has brought Elmo back to our house in a major way.
It's the word she says the most times in any given day: 'All-moe', 'All-moe!'
I was cracking up when we had to fill out a form for her preschool that listed her "interests" and it was the only thing Matt or I could come up with.
Dolls have been knocked out of their place in her baby stroller to be replaced by the furry red monster.
And then there are these slippers - that combine her two FAVORITE things...
...shoes AND Elmo!
Life doesn't get better for Miss C!

Off They Go...
Tuesday was the first day of preschool for Wells (5 Day 4's with Ms. Neilsen & Ms. Beckert). And Caroline started on Wednesday (Older Toddlers with Ms. Tina and Ms. Jane)
Wells was so excited for his new class (lots of friends!), moving to the "big" playground at CCK (reserved only for the 4's and Kindergartners), and their class pet, a frog, that they decided as a group on the first day to name Skittles. He's told everyone about Skittles whom they get to take turns caring for on the weekends. He always leaves out the fact that Skittles is a stuffed frog (details, details...).
We were unsure how Caroline was going to react. This one could have gone either way (and I was definitely betting there were going to be LOTS of tears). But our sweet, smiley girl walked in with no fear (pacifier firmly in place), and her teacher said she loved every second she was there.

Cute boys looking for horses

Love W's smile
Canoeing down the New River:
Now...this trip got off to a rocky start - no pun intended (seriously Matt loves puns, and I wish he read this blog to get a laugh from that one) but was SO much fun in the end.
Blame it on the rain
Fishing:
Trying to get everyone to sleep...pulling out every electronic device in the house:
Happy Labor Day!
