We met friends at our new and improved neighborhood bowling alley:

Caroline came along too - I have to say it's not my top pick of a place to take a 17 month old. Lots of opportunities for squished fingers and picking up gross shoes. But overall, such a fun outing for a hot summer day!
Wells and Caroline spent some time this week with their LD (long distance) friends...and love was in the air!

And Caroline has another LD love interest, her friend Liam was in town too!
So at 17 months old, I can finally say that Caroline is "walking". I am defining walking as spending more time on 2 legs (and not holding onto something) than crawling on all 4's. Sweet girl has been working at it so hard - very, very slowly. It's been a gradual process for her (unlike Wells who discovered one day he could walk, the next day tried to run, and never turned back).
She's really a walker now though. And we are so very proud of her!!
Wells got some one on one time with Mom & Dad in May, and this week it was Caroline's turn.
W was off at Kids Week in the mountains with Poppy & Keke, and this sweet little one was by my side all week.
We had her friend Anna over to play (and had a tea party)
Practiced lots of walking and pretend shopping with baby
And lunched at Reid's
My little man is home now, and oh how we missed him. It's not the same house without him. There's no noise, not as much laughter, and not nearly as much fun!
Wells was in golf camp this past week! I can't say he's the next Webb Simpson quite yet, but maybe one day...
