Somebunny Is One Month Old!

1 month old today!

Caroline, at one month you:

Weigh 9 lbs and 15 oz (over 2 lbs more than when you were born!) and are in the 47th percentile for weight
Are 21 inches long and in the 20th percentile for height
Have a head circumference of 36.5 cm (36th percentile)

You were VERY sleepy for the first two weeks of your life but have "woken up" some.  You are still such a good sleeper and give us 4, 5, sometimes even 6 hours of straight sleep at night.  After the first few days we brought you home, we moved you to your crib at night and you seem to like it there.  You didn't like your bath at first but are starting to enjoy it more.

You eat about 4 ounces at a time, sometimes up to 7 oz during a growth spurt period.

You sometimes cry, but only during certain hours at night -usually between 7 and 10pm.  You are an angel all day long - that time of night just does not seem to agree with you quite yet.  You LOVE to "sleep in" in the morning - you are the best sleeper from 6 am to 10 am.  You get this from your mom and we cuddle almost any time we have the luxury of sleeping in together. 

Your dad and I love every square inch of you and are so enjoying watching you grow!!

Happy Birthday Poppy!

Someone special is celebrating a BIG birthday today.  We are so sad we weren't able to make his celebration over the weekend...so Wells decided to have a little celebration of his own at home in honor of his Poppy. 

To Wells, there's no birthday without a treat (had to convince him that cookies were ok substitutes for cupcakes since we didn't have cupcakes in the house)

Meanwhile, Caroline celebrates in her dreams...

Boyfriend/Girlfriend; Girlfriend/Boyfriend

One of my best friends, Lauren, came to visit this weekend.  I love her sweet little Liza so much (she's just a few months younger than Wells) and got to meet her newest little man, Charlie, who is 6 weeks older than Caroline.

A little difficult to get a picture of two babies sitting up when there's no neck control (and one is sound asleep).

Party Time

Wells' friend Charlie turned 3!  He had a party with all of Wells' favorite things:  bounce houses, cupcakes, and the Little Blue Choo!

Icing on the Cake

I always ask Wells if he needs help taking the paper off his cupcakes and he says no.  I'm beginning to catch on to his cupcake eating strategy:  why even bother with the cake portion when there's ICING to enjoy?!?

Here's W at his classmate Owen's birthday party on Saturday.  I have to agree with him - it doesn't get much better than icing!
