Our neighborhood friends on Pinehurst Place (minus the Stanfields - who were missed!) plus all 10 of our kids took a Memorial Day weekend trip to Ocean Isle.

School's Out for Summer!

Here are some pics from W's end of year picnic last week:

Caroline along for the ride. She somehow managed to eat a picnic lunch from a snack trap in her stroller (?).  Thank goodness she is so sweet and easygoing.

 W and Ms. Thompson, his 3's teacher.  He has learned so much this year - they started with colors and shapes, and rounded out the year with the alphabet and spelling of their names.  He's learned the days of the week, tons of sweet Christian songs, and even all kinds of weather terms (his favorite!).

One on One

Matt had a work trip at the beach, and W and I decided to tag along.  It meant lots of one on one time for our little guy since Caroline stayed behind with Rosa and GG.

And we made it home just in time to celebrate Anna's (next door neighbor and Caroline BFF) first birthday.  Here are the Pinehurst Place girls - Ella, Anna, Reese, and C.  They are seriously outnumbered by all the boys on this street!
