Spring Festivals

There are so many fun things to do this time of year.  Here are some shots from yesterday at the MP Methodist Spring Carnival:

Haircuts

Caroline got her first haircut this week, maybe the quickest and most un-noticeable haircut ever - a very small trim in the back.

Here she is holding on for dear life.

Lucky for her, the stylist said she could skip the seat and stay in her mom's arms (she was a little nervous, to say the least).

Compare that to W, who is an old pro at this haircut thing:

He loves it!  Snacks, TV show, a prize at the end.  He couldn't ask for more!

Miss Caroline has been pulling up and trying to stand on her own more and more.

And then of course pulling up on the dangerous mirrored table (if there's something that's not safe - she'll find it):

She's shown major determination this week.  Hoping she gets up on her feet before summer!  In the meantime, she's talking away.  New additions to her vocab:

• "Good gourl" (Mommy's constant praise, perhaps?)
• "Uh oh"
• "Nite nite"
• "Na-na" (because she eats approx 3 bananas every day)

The bunny stopped at our house!

We headed to Gastonia for Easter brunch with the extended Harvey crew.

We stopped by to see Aunt Ann & GG and W and C had a great time playing and swinging in the hammock!

And then once home we made this cute discovery:

Today we had a fun-filled day with Easter egg hunts.
